Enough already, Get a new idea
Halo is old now, stop beating this dead horse. Its not a real game anymore, its the new counter strike.
Same content just "tweaked" a little bit to look somewhat better. Take all the effort and money you have used to create the 2nd and 3rd halo's and create something new, something different something innovative. The whole "lone hero saves humanity" has been done over and over and over again. It started with Wolfinstien, doom and quake. We had all 30, or however many, medal of honors, call of duty's etc. etc. Its over, put your thinking caps on AND COME UP WITH SOMETHING NEW.

Unwanted Help
Why does "Dr". Phil think he can help people by showing and talking about peoples faults on national TV ? All he is doing is driving people who really need help deeper into a sense of denial. It takes years of one on one counseling and therapy to even begin to open up and see ones faults before you can even start to fix them. When people are confronted on national TV with what they feel is a fault . and "Dr." Phil is ragging on them about it they just hide those faults and don't seek help as they fear thats what therapy is. All he should say to every person is " Go to a therapist" or "seek help" . Do no harm, isn't that the oath .... you are harming every single person who watches the shows. You don't get things right, you are bowing to commercial interests and hurting people and ideas that you have no medical expertise to even talk intelligently about let along pass judgment on. The blood had not even been cleaned up in Virgina and you were blaming video games..... How egotistical do you have to be to go on TV and blame something before investigators even officially release the name of the gunman. Did you spend time with this young man ? did you analize him and his lifestyle, his family, the pressures of being an collage student? What were his fears, his hopes ? How was his home life ? Did his dad beat him ? Was he molested as a child ? Unless you know even a couple of those things please do all of us a favor and keep your self perpetuating, ego driven nonsensical advice inside your bloated head.

First Post
This is the first post to the Discarded Lies blog. This blog will enlighten you. It will surprise you. It might even enrage you. I do not post here to debate grammar or spelling. I will try to keep both correct to the best of my ability's. I do post here to to bring the people of not only America but the world the knowledge that the United states of America is failing. We are in the death throws of a once glorious super power that has given to much power to only a few people. We have given our human rights, not American, but human rights to not live in fear, to not send our sons and daughters to war, to not be held hostage by big corporations.
The name discarded lies comes from a speech given by Mr George W. Bush before a joint session of congress. The passage that I took this from reads,
"These terrorists kill not merely to end lives but to disrupt and end a way of life. With every atrocity they hope that America grows fearful, retreating from the world and forsaking our friends. They stand against us because we stand in their way. We're not deceived by their pretenses to piety. We have seen their kind before. They are the heirs of all the murderous ideologies of the 20th century. By sacrificing human life to serve their radical visions, by abandoning every value except the will to power, they follow in the path of fascism, Nazism and totalitarianism. And they will follow that path all the way to where it ends: in history's unmarked grave of discarded lies."
We are the ones sacrificing lives for a lie Mr. Bush. Do you even remember why we went there? WMD's I believe is what you said. How many did we find ? none. but we found aluminum tubes which could have been used to weaponize uranium, or purify explosives, or make a swing set or to carry water, or to build a giant cow flinging catapult (cowapult?). So with no real weapons we did a giant bait and switch. well we were there for the aluminum tubes but now we see a humanitarian crises and thats a much better reason. I agree, human suffering must be stopped. but to invade a country, wander over all sorts of private land with giant tanks, evacuate thousands of civilians from city's all for a false reason and then expect the people who live in that country to role out the welcome mats is absurd. We are fighting and dieing and paying for a war that was based on a lie. Ahh yes the money.... your vise presidents company sure is doing well.... its really to bad that in all the rush to invade a country under false pretenses so that the nation who is paying for it does not find out we did not have a chance to go with the lowest biding contractor for military supplies. Nope the task of getting the supplies and the supplie trucks and the food and all of the clothing all went to haliburton.... but wait haliburton could not provide our solders with effective body armor? Was the profit margin on armor not as good as the 26 doller per piece lunch trays we sent over there ?
But, I am getting ahead of myself. I will return soon to spout more about health care, social security and the general state of our united states soon
